Yesterday I began the works of 'BioZone4' completely by accident, but i almost finished the track!
Essentially I accidentally plugged a recording of my MS-1 into this bass progression for a 303 like mono synth and wow I literally cried
I certainly can't remember the last time that happened haha, very special
And of course i'm giving myself the two week challenge again of hardware music so that of course means...
LAMb2: something something
Because of how fast I can get these ones out I would expect LAMb2 to release very soon actually probably spring
I will update you on what happens...
still gutted about BioZone3 because I want to use that name again its so good 3 is the most breath of fresh air number
(writing all this after going to bed at 4am and waking up at 8 so i'll proof read this some other time)
I know, it's rediculous how I havent update this page nor 'theAzureus' but here we are
Honestly I've been getting really excited thinking about all the possibilities of the next album
It was gonna be about fungi and all that stuff as a follow up partly from LAMb:01 and it likely will still have this as a heavy theme
But now i'm looking at merging this with the azureus project again, properly
The next 'album' will certainly be under 'Azureus' and azureusRecordings etc and will be a lot of instrumental recordings
I will then sort of electronically mix these and what not remixing editing and sampling I imagine
YPbPr or /Pb/ will be having the pure synth credits whilst Azureus for everything else
I really want to make something special here with a 2cd release, on CD's not CD-r's hopefully too
uhhh in other news i made a MIDI cc patcher plugin for my broken midi keyboard if you want it
I made it customisable so you can tweak it to your CC issues etc:I, up until this point, completely forgot div's exist so excuse the fact theres a style="color" on EVERYTHING
So this half label half promotion and fourth dimension upper half fun creation I made in 2024 is now coming into fruition a whole year later
Well I think it's pretty safe to assume that my jazz funk things and well anything I make other than possibly my next mainline YPbPr album will be published through here
An outer skin to publish everything under and to keep everything lovely and cozy and hopefully not robotically tidy
I don't expect this website to be going anywhere just yet haha, infact at the moment I'm setting it up to just redirect myself as an artist straight here
This website is quite personal and funny whereas I want theazureus to be at least semi-professional
Went for "The Azureus" as opposed to just azureus records or recordings as I want to archive art aswell and other mediums
Hopefully once my acoustic stuff is sorted out next year I can properly get some people on board this project to release with and help promote
So Land of Ducks is out now, brilliant nothing really utterly special apart from Cwm Cadlan, sorry I do like all of them its just i've listened to them all SO MANY TIMES
Seriously you would not believe how many times I've heard Mycelium Folklore, I went through about ten different ideas for that track every single day when i got home from work
So yeah after a month straight of hearing the same tracks I'm ready to leave them be for a while lol, they will find their way back into my ears soon enough.
Today I made some new tunes fucking with spectral time delays and resinators, so this is naturally I suppose going to be the album version of the egg that was spectre.
You know I knew when I wrote that track that I had just laid the first stone into the new sound I'm going to do, It was just too much fun.
No real track there yet but the idea is very much there, problem is these kinds of songs do require progression, no holding onto bars for long periods.
This is why Spectre was such a loved track of mine because every second was considered and thought out which going forwards is how things should be.
I'll be making music all my life so as long as I dont die soon I'll be back to writing like my BioZone stuff soon enough.
But oh my hasn't this year gone by quick, I worry that things will get faster and faster and I'll forget to conclude all these series I make!
Series being: BioZone and LAMb, well and also Tzopaglyphia however that will be succeeded by another Ambient House album of course maybe not a direct sequel.

Ah what a month it's been, well ish, I set myself a goal of making an album in a month and I finished it in just two weeks!
My analogue setups been around for a while now I bought the TR-8 in November 2024 but only made track use of it on Tzopaglyphs.
So I thought hell rather than just a song but with a bit of 303 in the back, what about a 303 song with JUST 303 (Batteries not included, or needed its DC?).
Well I've been discovering all kinds of sounds you can make on just the 101 clone by itself vs the well fairly limited range of tones from the 303.
Thats not to say you cant do cool things, I always use my 303's as leads maybe distored maybe not, also plug that cv gate into note out and you've got some WET NOISE.
But yeah, really excited to share what I've made here, nothing groundbreaking or innovative but just, cool and fun. My next /Pb/ release is gonna blow ur fukin mind.

I am no advocate for drugs and I actively discourage them especially weed that gave me huge fucking lifelong paranoia episodes or uh derealization stuff
However the psilocybik's of the Azureus realm did help me stick to an incredible path, I can't wait to share my dimension with I and you.
Really don't enjoy the educational experience, quite forced and not relevent to what I wanted out of it sadly :(
Living alone however has been great I already liked cooking and that side of things so more time to think about futures and eight alias's of dimension music

anyways Tzopaglyphs was half done ish when i started my last college year so I finished it off and submitted it as the project

well i was excited until I saw how long it takes :/ , anyways it's so I can downgrade to MacOS 12 which is the last version to natively support FireWire Audio inside of CoreAudio
I personally dont feel like spending £120 on a cheap audio interface when I have a perfectly good one that i got for free from a clearance at my college.
I had to buy a Thunderbolt 2 -> 3 adapter from cex which cost me ALMOST FORTY QUID, holy floof thats steep.
right well anyways I like crud like this makes me feel like a proper old technologika bloke cus I still use firewire.
I'm not even sure how [FireWire 400 -> 800] -> [Firewire 800 -> Thunderbolt 2] -> [Thunderbolt 2 -> 3] even works without any latency but sure I'll take it.
erm no drivers unfortunately being a 'Plug n Play' interface so I've had to revert to MacOS 12 instead but who cares I only use this laptop for music and firefox

render errors(well not really render errors it did exactly what i told it to but still) in the video for Penallt Viadukt, the sun(master light) keeps it's position in frame throughout unfortunately, I did fix this in the other 4 renders.

Realistically from 2025 onwards it's in Azureus, what was once previously known as PseudoGoose
Pseudo-Goose now very much moved into Azureus is my jazz band I created in 2022 but didnt really start until 2023
It was me and my drummer friend with me on keys playing some lovely background tunes, ALL improvised for anywhere in time, 5 mins to 4 hours(really 4 hours yes)
Errrm and then in 2024 I had a communication with the squids once more and they reminded me of my greatest inspiration for the Azureus project which I have now begun
So basically Azureus as it is is my evolution of the Second Page, Two pages by 4hero. They did the perfect album for me and now I must give my perfect album for the next uhh me I guess?
Relatively speaking I guess that other 'me' isn't even born yet so I welcome him/her to fan over my niche schizo page, MAKE MUSIC FOR YOUR HEAD.

Apologies, Azureus has been established now as my entry into the future, I love YPbPr now I prefer /Pb/ but yes. Azureus will continue my electronic stream no doubt, I can't just bin off my livelyhood that easily

Azureus is the natural blend between the later stage electronics of YPbPr and my unreleased jazz/soul/funk background collaborating with many folks in Stroud, you will want to hear this.
All people under 25 crave optimism FACT, so I invest my love into this new (old) project that will fulfil my destiny for Lord Frith, the black rabbit.
This will hopefully end up releasing physically a bit like Tzopaglyphs did but like more proper

Never before has a project resonated so much with a thimble in my head, not even an earthquake could do that. Track names like icykiltik tricysectymn-3 Azureus Tzopa BlueFraex Triphynol.
Those names came from somewhere I dive into in my cortex, I'd love to visit again but I can only appear in utter paranoia. Total Brain Destruction results in such cases unfortunately
